There are currently 65 team members from 36 businesses throughout the Sallandse Heuvelrug who are known as ‘Host/Hostess of the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park’. All these recreation entrepreneurs and their employees have completed a course to equip them with extra information about - for instance - unique locations in and around the National Park, and they have some great facts for you about the surrounding nature and landscape. So useful for you!
The growing group of hosts regularly exchange information, and the hosts also take part in excursions to find out even more about the area. The Hospitality course is the result of a national IVN (Institute for nature) programme called Landscape Host. There are now 2500 businesses across the country that can call themselves Landscape Host.
