When you cycle along the Sallandse Heuvelrug or the Holterberg you are on a journey of highs and lows. The Sallandse Heuvelrug is anything but flat and that’s what makes it so magnificent. Nothing more rewarding than a stunning view after a climb. The highest point of the Sallandse Heuvelrug is 75 metres, but if you are looking for even bigger heights, then cycle from the Sallandse Heuvelrug to the Lemelerberg. At 77 metres, this mountain is taking heights to a new level, more or less...
The cycling routes on the Sallandse Heuvelrug are signposted by the hub network. This is a very easy way to get around; you will never (unknowingly) get lost. However, you will find yourself in the park’s most unique places that will surprise you every time. You will not only be surprised by new places, but also by the changing of the seasons in the park and all the splendour that comes with it: the most amazing colours are a great sight.
