Ommen and more: A visual voyage of discovery This exhibition is a special mix of the familiar and the unexpected. Of course we celebrate the beauty of our own municipality. You will see our view of the tranquility of the Vecht, the magical light at sunrise, the iconic windmill and the vast fields. Ommen as a symbol of freedom, captured through our lenses.

But we also like to let you look beyond the borders of Ommen! We dive into abstract worlds full of lines, textures and unexpected compositions that stimulate your imagination. Think captivating abstract images that transform reality and intriguing details of architecture that tell a story. We also present personal portraits, each with its own emotion and story. And for animal lovers, there is a wonderful collection of our winged and crawling friends, from imposing birds to curious frogs and graceful snails.

What makes photography so special? For us, photography is more than just capturing a moment. It is the art of looking and creating, but especially the interpretation you as a viewer give to the image.
