Disabled and full of questions? On Thursday, June 4, you can bring your questions and experiences to a so-called Coffee Table of the Samen Veerkrachtig foundation.
The Coffee Table is not just a cozy coffee table. Of course people drink a cup of coffee together there. But they also engage in conversation with each other because they have a common denominator: an employment disability. They do this in a small group, under the guidance of our experts by experience.↵.
Includes lunch and coffee and tea
The Coffee Table meets a need that many people with an employment limitation have. They are full of questions. What about health? What are the financial implications? And what does it all mean for work? At a Coffee Table, people can talk to others in the same situation and ask questions of experts by experience. By listening to each other's stories and exchanging tips and facts, they help each other move forward. That way, no one has to be alone.
The Coffee Table is an initiative of Together Resilient. This is a digital meeting point for and by people with disabilities and the long-term sick. The meeting point is there for contact, tips and information. The pivot is formed by the experts by experience, who have become experts through their own and others' experiences with a disability and who like to use this for others. For example by answering questions on the forum and organizing coffee tables.
The Coffee Table in Ommen can be visited free of charge. Please register in advance. Check our website www.samenveerkrachtig.nl for more information.
