Sprengenberg

Sprengenberg offers woodlands, heathlands, panoramas, a country estate with stately avenues, rhododendrons and not forgetting Palthetoren manor house. The Erve De Pas meeting place provides visitors with a place they can rest, take a break, and naturally, enjoy good food at the inn on the quiet side of Sallandse Heuvelrug.

Sprengenberg is enjoyable in all seasons. If you come in May, you are greeted by the colours of the azaleas and rhododendrons. In June and July, golden-yellow corn sways in the fields. You might see a deer pop out of the corn if you are lucky. The vast heathlands are at their most attractive in August and September and you can enjoy the flowering heather. Snowing in winter? Then this is naturally a great place to ride a sled.

Sturdy shoes, a rucksack, and off you go! Enjoy a brisk day’s walk across the hilly and very diverse Sprengenberg, part of Sallandse Heuvelrug Nature Reserve. When you think of Salland, you immediately think of Sallandse Heuvelrug Nature Reserve. Go ahead and book a hotel or campsite, because one day is by no means enough to see everything.
